Over the weekend, Scottie Scheffler slipped on his second green jacket in three years. The 27-year old New Jersey native won the 2024 Masters Tournament, edging out Sweden's Ludvig Åberg. Scheffler finished 11-under par and won by four strokes. After Åberg, Max Horma, Collin Morikawa, and Tommy Fleetwood tied for third place, all finishing 3-under par.

In addition to all of the regular pressures of competing in the Masters, Scheffler's wife Meredith was unable to be in attendance at the tournament because she was in the final weeks of her pregnancy. Scheffler told the media before the tournament started that his wife could potentially go into labor before or during the tournament. If that had happened, Scottie would have bailed on the weekend immediately. Baby Scheffler held off, and Scottie stayed focused, and he captured another Masters title in Augusta.

In addition to the Green Jacket, Scheffler received 100 world ranking points, 600 FedEx Cup points, and hauled in $3.6 million.
